With modern interpretations of traditional Northern Italian recipes, Scalo earns Best Italian honors from many sources, including citysearch.com and earned Best Restaurant from the popular Zagat Guide. The airy and lively bar serves the full spectrum of classic and neo cocktails, with an emphasis on attentive service and a convivial scene. Scalos wine list places our Italian producers front and center with a great range of well-known and little-known-but-notable reds and whites. Not content to promote only the worlds greatest wine country, Scalo also selects and stocks labels from all those other wine-producing countries like France, Australia and the US!
Never afraid of being great, we also are not afraid of giving great value. Dinner entrees start in the low-teens for house made pastas and top out in the low-twenties for grilled meats and fresh fish. And we still give a free salad with every main course.
Reservations are recommended but walk-ins are always accommodated..

OUR CHEF(S)
Chef/Owner Tom White founded Scalo fifteen years ago and has been our guiding light and mind behind throughout the restaurants history. Two years ago, Tom handed the reins to Chef Enrique Guerrero. Chef Guerrero was trained at The California Culinary Institute and includes a stint as personal chef to the president of Mexico in his lengthy biography. Both men are committed to the mindful care and feeding of every guest, with emphasis on originality that respects Italys deep traditions. Come and check out their show!
